I love looking at seasonal color trends to get ideas for upcoming designs, and to think outside the box about how to combine clothing and accessories for daily looks. The trending Spring 2013 colors are so much fun, and as they carry over into Summer 2013 color shades I know they'll mix and match into some amazing looks!
Here are 3 colors that you're sure to have fun playing with this season...
Lemon Yellow
Light, playful yellow is huge this season. Yellow is known for being a color of joy and inspiration, so it's a great addition to any look where you want to carry that energy. Yellow is great in shoes and accessories as it helps remind us of the sun and the many colors of the season.
Off White
The color of raw linen or a perfect eggshell is a great way to get white in your look without the intensity of a true white tone. Going off white means that you can mix and match with a wider array of colors while staying grounded and even earthy in your clean look.
Sky Blue
The perfect Spring 2013 color! Sky blue connects our individual looks to the endless sky above and helps our style pop against the colorful background of the season. Blue is great as a top or skirt, and it works perfectly with almost every Spring color because of its connection with the sky.
Yellow, off white, and blue seem to combine for the perfect Spring look - they remind me of the sun, clouds, and sky!
Try these colors in your own looks this season!

Make A Magical Springtime
I love Springtime, and I always try to get out as much as possible and take advantage of the perfect weather. No mater where you are in the world, the spring is a great time to reconnect with nature, get some exercise, complete some goals, and just have a good time! Today, I thought it would be fun to share some ideas that you can use this year to have a truly magical springtime! From creativity and learning to connecting with the earth and nurturing our soul, add some of these easy and affordable activities to your life this season and reap the rewards for seasons to come!
Gardening
One of the most therapeutic, fun, and educational things you can do on your own or with your family in the spring is garden. Planting just a few things in a small area or working with pots and containers is a great way to reconnect with the earth, get your hands dirty, and participate in the growing season! Flowers, veggies, fruits, and herbs are all easy to work with and can make a very rewarding project.
Sidewalk Chalk
Grab some sidewalk chalk and your kids and take art outdoors! This is the perfect activity to bring color and smiles to your sidewalks, driveways, and retaining walls this season!
Nature Walk
This is a great time of year to spend as much time as you can outside. Make it a point to take walks several times a week and pay attention to what you see nature doing right now. What plants can you identify? Which neighbor has the best garden? Are there any plants you want for your own yard? Connecting this way inspires the imagination and relieves stress - a total win!
Home Improvement
If there are some things around your home that need an upgrade, consider tackling some of them on your own. Learning to handle household repairs can be easier than you think with the right book or online videos, and it's extremely empowering (and great bragging rights!) to know that you can handle the job yourself.
Spring is going to be amazing this year - enjoy!
