This week I'd like to introduce you to two new earring sets that have just been released on Tabelina. The 'Taylor' earrings are the perfect shape to get light and movement to your look while being light and adaptable to any style. I designed these pieces to work really well with dressed up and casual looks alike, so you'll be getting a whole lot of diversity with just one pair of earrings!

The Taylor Teardrop Hoop Earrings shown above are a perfect 3" length and are gold filled. They convey such a powerful amount of reflection and light that they simply cannot go unnoticed!

The gold color and teardrop shape are classic elements of a dressed up look, while the texture is playful and fun. I love combining parts of play and refinement in my designs and I love what happens when they come together in synergy.

Stylists and fashionistas are saying that this season it's all about movement. When we can get our accessories to dance and swing in harmony with the way we move, the effects are dazzling! The issue is that many women find that moving earrings put excess weight on their lobes which can lead to everything from soreness and redness to headaches and stiff muscles. I designed the Taylor Triple Cascade Hoop Earrings shown above to deliver all the movement with none of the heavy weight. This week, in celebration of Spring, I thought it would be fun to explore some of the newest pieces on the Tabelina site. The New Big Bang Bracelets Are In!

Recently we've been adding a complete line of Big Bang bracelets to the Tablina shop - and  two more amazing pieces have just found their way to the website - in green!

Setting Great New Year Resolutions

One of the best part of the New Year is being able to start fresh on any goals or dreams you have. Experts have found that setting the right kinds of goals plays a huge part in people's success, so today I'd like to share some easy resolution-making tips with you that will get you on your way to making them a reality in no time!

Here's what you need to remember... goals should be S.M.A.R.T.!

S

Simple. Your goals shouldn't be complicated or multifaceted. Make simple goals that are easy to understand and really clear to wrap your mind around. If you need to make 10 small simple goals instead of one big complex one, that's a great move.

M

Measurable. Make sure that you're able to measure your goal. How long should it take? How will you know when you've achieved it?

A

Attainable. Many times we set goals that are just too impractical... and when we do this, we set ourselves up for failure. Make sure that the goals you set fit into your budget, work with your lifestyle, and can actually be accomplished reasonably. Again, it's better to set 5 progressive goals than 1 big one. Those little victories leading up to a massive win and extremely motivating!

R

Realistic. Set resolutions that can actually be made into reality. Many people self-sabotage by creating goals that cannot actually happen. Instead of taking that route, choose things that people do everyday that you'd like to replicate in your own life.

T

True. Ensure that every single goal you make is true for you. DO NOT set goals because other people think you should. Whether it's weight loss or a new job, make sure the goal is your truth and not someone else's.

You've probably heard and seen the trendy boho style that's taken over Hollywood and local fashion fans this summer. Boho is a style that allows each person to express their own individuality by working with colors, textures, and elements that are all around us in a special way. On days when you feel like embracing your free spirit, letting your hair down, and going with the flow - and little boho style will be the perfect look to inspire you!

One of the main reasons that I started Tabelina and worked so hard on the pieces I create every day is to inspire beauty. I think that all women are beautiful - but not all of us recognize that. The media, people around us, and our own negative self dialogue can fool us into thinking that we're simply not good enough. We try to compare ourselves to models, look the way airbrushed photographs in magazines look, and be people we are simply not meant to be. Women work hard to look their best, and I want to celebrate that in its most pure and true form.

No matter who you are, what you look like, or where your life path is taking you, you are beautiful. The fact that you are part of this world means that we need you here, and the fact that you are a woman means that you are beauty by nature.

If the things I am saying to you here feel uncomfortable to you, trigger fears, or cause you to argue with me in your own mind - it's time for change! Before the world will start seeing how amazing you are, and before your heart of hearts will truly believe in your inherent beauty, you have to start taking steps to cultivate a positive self image, self esteem, and self respect.

Did you know that colors can influence our emotions, thoughts, feelings, and even our health? Experts across the world use colors in subtle ways to help create special moods and atmospheres, and you can too just by wearing the right colors in your clothing and accessories!
