Get Confident! 5 Ways To Increase Your Self Esteem

No matter who we are, everyone struggles with confidence and self-esteem at one time or another in their lives. The good news is that we can step in to a stronger and more positive light when it comes to how we view ourselves and the things we accomplish. With a little work and a lot of reinforcement, you can start being the person who shows on the outside just how much value and power they have on the inside!

Follow these simple tips to cultivate a better self-esteem and more personal power right now!

  1. Celebrate small victories. When you tackle something, take time to honor your achievements. Add in some chocolate, a glass of wine, or a victory dance for even better results!
  2. Say 'thank you' first thing when people compliment you. Chances are that if you have a low self-esteem, you argue your way out of most compliments. Instead of denying the gifts people give you - just say thank you and accept the praise. It will fell uncomfortable at first, but eventually you'll love the feeling and power it cultivates within you!
  3. Speak to yourself in a gentle and positive way. If you catch yourself tearing in to your person, attitude, behavior, or worth, choose to counteract that with 10 good things about yourself. If you have to, fake it until you make it!
  4. Start seeing just how unique and special you really are. No two people in the world are the same, and the more we see how unique we are, the more we see our value in it all.
  5. Pay the good energy forward by giving compliments, thank you's, and smiles openly to others - it does wonders!
Enjoy the new boost in personal power, self-esteem, courage, and joy!
