3 Kinds Of Dads To Celebrate This Father's Day!

Over the years, I have noticed that there seem to be three 'types' of Fathers in the world. Where our Mother's tend to be stable, nurturing, and almost 'predictable', Fathers can bring unique energies and interactions to their families that make each of them very special. In celebration of the many different types of Fathers out there, I would like to share my observations and sentiments with you in today's blog post. Enjoy!

The Toddler Father
These Fathers love babies! They are the first ones to get down on the floor and crawl with their babies, want to hold them constantly, and enjoy just being near them. Toddler Fathers really enjoy the delicacy of their babies and love to feel protective and nurturing when their child needs them most. My Father was definitely a Toddler Father! There's nothing sweeter than seeing a Dad with his baby!

The Teenage Father
Sometimes these Fathers didn't understand or relate well to their infant children - but as soon as the fun teenage years hit - they are activated! These Fathers love t be involved in extracurricular activities, sports, life advice, and life skills with their teens. They play an active role in helping their kids form social circles and maintain self esteem, health, and responsibility. This Father can seem overbearing to some teens, but he is really just concerned and wants to make sure that his child is always safe, secure, and protected.

The College Father
These types of Fathers love adult conversations and love  to relate to their children as other grown ups with duties, goals, and responsibilities. These Dads give amazing advice and are usually very approachable. From career and finances to marriage and investments, the college Father is there to help their child make some of the most important decisions in life.

As you can see, Fathers are as varied as their children. Take this Father's Day to see the unique and special characteristics of the Fathers in your life - and celebrate them!

Happy Father's Day!
